Accepting New Patients in Texas, Oregon, and Washington State
Integrative Psychiatry & Medication Management — Serving Texas, Washington State & Oregon
Bringing a new life into the world is often described as joyful, but for many, the experience is far more complex. Postpartum depression can quietly shape how you see yourself, connect with others, and navigate each day. You might feel exhausted, emotionally flat, or overwhelmed by a constant swirl of thoughts and responsibilities. It’s not just about “baby blues” — it’s a real mental health condition that deserves care, not shame.
Even if everything looks fine on the outside — a healthy baby, a supportive family — inside, you may feel detached, irritable, anxious, or hopeless. If you’ve been thinking, “This doesn’t feel like me,” or “I should be happier than this,” please know: you’re not alone. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate this on your own. Depression treatment can help support you through this journey with compassion and clarity.
Postpartum depression can show up differently for everyone. Some common signs include:
These experiences are common, and more importantly, they’re treatable. You deserve support that meets you where you are through integrative treatment that’s tailored to your needs.
At CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness, I offer care that goes beyond symptom management. Through a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and collaborative planning, we’ll look at how your unique biology, lifestyle, and environment may contribute to your feelings.
Postpartum recovery isn’t just physical — it’s emotional, mental, and deeply personal. A holistic approach to care recognizes the connection between your nervous system, hormone shifts, nutrition, sleep, and sense of self. At CopeWell, I work with you to identify what’s draining you and what can restore you.
Together, we’ll explore sustainable tools to help you:
Healing isn’t about bouncing back — it’s about moving forward with clarity and confidence.
Not necessarily. While medication management can be helpful for many individuals, especially when symptoms interfere with daily functioning, it’s not the only option. I take a balanced approach — if medication is right for you, we’ll explore it together, always aiming for the most effective and gentle plan possible.
Yes. Your care will be tailored to your values, lifestyle, and time constraints. Whether you’re a new parent balancing feeding schedules, returning to work, or caring for other children, I’ll work with you to create a plan that feels supportive, not overwhelming.
If you’re constantly exhausted, disconnected, irritable, or feeling like you’re “not yourself,” those are important signs to pay attention to. Difficulty bonding with your baby, sleep disruptions, loss of joy, or feelings of hopelessness are also strong indicators that support could help, and you don’t have to wait for a crisis to reach out.
Getting started is simple. Book an initial psychiatric evaluation, and we’ll talk about your feelings, health history, and goals. You’ll receive compassionate, informed guidance on the next steps, whether that’s medication management, lifestyle shifts, or a combination of strategies.
Postpartum depression is not a personal failure — it’s a health condition that can be treated with the right support. At CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness, I offer care that honors your story, your values, and your needs as a whole person.
Insurance can be confusing. Here are some key terms explained:
A fixed amount you pay for each appointment, such as $30 per visit.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering services. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance kicks in.
After you’ve met your deductible, you might pay a percentage of the cost, such as 20%, while insurance pays 80%.
The most you’ll pay in a year. Once you hit this amount, insurance covers 100% of covered services.
In-network providers have negotiated rates with your insurance, which usually means lower costs for you. Out-of-network providers may cost more, but you might still get partial reimbursement.
