Accepting New Patients in Texas, Oregon, and Washington State

Many people spend years trying different medications, therapies, or lifestyle changes without long-term relief. That’s because traditional mental health care often relies on trial and error. Genomic testing changes that.
At CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness, I use IntellxxDNA, one of the most advanced genomic testing tools available. Unlike other tests that only suggest which medications might work, IntellxxDNA dives deeper. It examines hundreds of genetic markers that provide insight into:
This gives us a clearer picture of why you feel the way you do—so we can create a personalized plan that actually fits you.
Targeted supplements, nutrition adjustments, lifestyle changes, therapy, and carefully selected medications (if needed). All designed to support your brain, body, and long-term wellness.
The goal: faster, safer, and more effective results—so you can finally start feeling like yourself again.
Who it’s for: People who’ve tried multiple treatments without success, those sensitive to medication, and anyone looking for a personalized approach to mental health.
Book a complimentary 15-minute consultation to briefly discuss your needs, goals, and whether genomic testing is the right fit.
Join a comprehensive 90-minute session where we’ll assess symptoms, explore potential diagnoses, clarify your goals, and create a personalized roadmap. This helps us determine which genomic panel(s) may be most appropriate.
You’ll receive a saliva-based genomic test kit from IntellxxDNA, priced between $450–$1,800 depending on the selected panel. Follow the easy at-home collection instructions and return it via prepaid mail.
Your sample is processed by IntellxxDNA, typically within 6–8 weeks. Results are securely sent to our practice for interpretation.
We’ll meet for a 60-minute review of your results. Together, we’ll design a precision care plan using genomics-informed recommendations—whether that includes nutrition, supplements, lifestyle changes, therapy, or medication.
You’re welcome to continue care through follow-up visits or quarterly check-ins to refine your plan and track progress over time.
Most genetic tests stop at medication matching. IntellxxDNA goes further—analyzing hundreds of clinically relevant genetic markers linked to mood, focus, energy, stress resilience, inflammation, nutrient processing, and more. This gives us a deeper, more complete picture of your brain-body connection.
It means less guessing and more clarity. Instead of trial-and-error treatment, we use your unique genomic blueprint to understand why you’re feeling off—and tailor care that actually fits.
Your personalized plan may include targeted supplements, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, mind-body practices, and (if needed) carefully selected medications based on how your body metabolizes them—for faster, safer, and more effective results.
This approach is ideal for those who’ve tried multiple treatments with little relief, want to minimize unnecessary medications, or are looking for a science-backed, natural approach to mental health. It’s also helpful for anyone wanting to make empowered, proactive choices about their wellness.
“No more guesswork—your DNA holds the answers to better mental health.”
Insurance can be confusing. Here are some key terms explained:
A fixed amount you pay for each appointment, such as $30 per visit.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering services. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance kicks in.
After you’ve met your deductible, you might pay a percentage of the cost, such as 20%, while insurance pays 80%.
The most you’ll pay in a year. Once you hit this amount, insurance covers 100% of covered services.
In-network providers have negotiated rates with your insurance, which usually means lower costs for you. Out-of-network providers may cost more, but you might still get partial reimbursement.
