Accepting New Patients in Texas, Oregon, and Washington State
“Wellness encompasses a healthy body, a sound mind and a
tranquil spirit. Enjoy the journey as you strive for wellness.”
– Laurette Gagnon Beaulieu.
I have learned that while many do respond well to psychotropic medications, many people’s needs go beyond simply medication management. I believe in a patient-centered approach to healthcare and my philosophy is based on the
idea that each individual is unique, with their own set of experiences, beliefs, and challenges.
I also understand that starting your journey to well-being can be challenging, and building trust is essential. That’s why I take the time to understand your unique needs, listen carefully to your concerns, and work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan.

You’re Meant to Thrive, Not Just Cope

Mental health is more than brain chemistry—it’s the intersection of mind, body, and environment. My integrative approach combines evidence-based medication management with holistic approaches like lifestyle coaching, sleep support, nutrition, and targeted supplementation. We’ll look beyond the surface to understand what’s truly contributing to your symptoms, then build a plan that supports healing from the inside out.

Many people assume that psychiatric treatment is just trial and error—trying different medications or strategies and hoping something sticks. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Precision Psychiatry offers a more intentional, personalized approach. It’s based on the understanding that your mental health is shaped by the complex interplay of your genetics, environment, nutrient absorption, stress response, and how your body processes medications. With advanced genomic testing like IntellxxDNA, we go beneath the surface to uncover factors that may be influencing mood, focus, or energy.
This approach brings clarity, not confusion. When you understand how your body and brain work together, you feel more in control. Precision Psychiatry helps you stop just managing symptoms and start working with your body to truly heal.
While Traditional Psychiatry focuses on a one-size-fits-all, trial-and-error approach, which can be time-consuming, Precision Psychiatry offers personalized treatment unique to your DNA. It’s the difference between “what usually works” and “what actually works for you.

You deserve care that respects your story. I offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive psychiatric support rooted in empathy and understanding—especially for individuals from BIPOC, immigrant, and those who’ve had negative experiences in the medical system. I also believe in collaborative care, working closely with your therapist, PCP, or other providers when appropriate to ensure well-rounded, effective support.
Integrative psychiatry does not mean anti-medication.
I integrate the following modalities along with a LOT of psychoeducation in my treatment plans

Mental health treatment shouldn’t be trial and error. I offer advanced DNA testing through IntellxxDNA to help uncover how your unique biology influences your mood, energy, focus, medication response, and overall mental health.
By understanding your brain-body blueprint, we can create a more targeted, evidence-informed plan—so you can start feeling better, faster, and with fewer setbacks.
When you understand what your body needs, you stop spinning your wheels—and start healing smarter.
Medication is just one part of your wellness journey—and it should make sense for you. I take a comprehensive, thoughtful approach to prescribing. We’ll review all your current treatments—including prescriptions, supplements, and vitamins—to ensure they work together and support your mental health goals.
No quick fixes, no one-size-fits-all. Just collaborative, personalized care that brings clarity instead of overwhelm.
~Care that’s for you, and about you.
What we eat deeply affects how we think, feel, and function. That’s why nutrition is a key part of the care I provide. Through personalized dietary assessments and supportive education, I help you make informed food choices that nourish your brain and support emotional balance.
We focus on incorporating whole, nutrient-dense foods while minimizing processed options—all with the goal of improving energy, mood, and long-term mental well-being.

Sometimes symptoms like anxiety, brain fog, or low energy are your body’s way of signaling that something deeper is going on. Lab testing helps uncover medical conditions or nutrient imbalances that could be affecting your mental health.
As part of your initial assessment, I order basic lab work to gain a clearer picture of your overall health. These insights allow us to address root causes—not just symptoms—so your treatment plan is grounded in the full picture of your well-being.
~ Because mental health starts with whole-body health ~
Emotional healing isn’t just about prescriptions—it’s about connection, reflection, and understanding your inner world.
I incorporate brief supportive therapy into appointments, using Motivational Interviewing (MI) and mindfulness-based techniques to help you build insight, self-compassion, and resilience. My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns at your own pace.
Through empathy, validation, and mind-body strategies, we’ll work together to develop practical tools for navigating life’s stressors with greater clarity and confidence. If you already have a psychotherapist, I’m happy to collaborate as part of your care team to ensure your treatment is cohesive and supportive.
~ Honoring your story, and supporting your growth from the inside out ~
Supplements can be a powerful addition to your mental wellness plan—especially when lab work points to nutrient deficiencies or when you’re looking to feel better beyond just “okay.” I often recommend evidence-based vitamins and natural remedies to support brain health, balance mood, and enhance overall treatment outcomes. In some cases, this can even reduce the need for medications. Together, we’ll explore what makes the most sense for your unique needs, lifestyle, and goals.
~ Supporting your mind and body from the inside out ~
Healing isn’t just about meds. It’s also about what you feed your brain, how you move through stress, and what brings you back to yourself. That’s why we look at the bigger picture—your habits, environment, and lifestyle. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate supplements, herbs, mindfulness tools, or other wellness practices to support your mental and physical health in meaningful, sustainable ways.
~ Wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s built one habit at a time ~
If you’re considering reducing or stopping psychiatric medication, I offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach tailored to your needs. We’ll assess whether tapering is appropriate based on your stability, history, and current circumstances, then create a personalized, step-by-step plan. I monitor closely for withdrawal or relapse, provide guidance throughout the process, and incorporate holistic supports—like lifestyle strategies, nutrition, and therapy—to help you stay balanced as your medication needs evolve.
“Empowered transitions begin with informed, compassionate care.”
When symptoms persist despite standard care, I provide education and referrals for evidence-based options like Spravato® (esketamine) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). These treatments can offer meaningful relief for individuals navigating treatment-resistant depression, OCD, or other complex conditions. I’ll help you determine whether these interventions may be appropriate, explain what to expect, and collaborate with outside specialists—ensuring your care remains coordinated, supportive, and seamless throughout the process.
“You don’t have to walk this alone—advanced care options are available, and I’m here to guide you.”
I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive space that promotes mental
well-being and empowers individuals to overcome challenges and thrive.
Unlike traditional psychiatry that often focuses only on medication, I take a whole-person approach rooted in Integrative and Precision Psychiatry, while honoring each patient’s cultural identity and values. Your care may include thoughtful medication management, nutrition, genomic testing, supportive therapy, lifestyle coaching, and culturally responsive support—because real healing means working with your whole self, not just managing symptoms.
Precision Psychiatry uses genomic testing (IntellxxDNA) to uncover how your genetics affect mood, anxiety, focus, nutrient metabolism, and how you respond to medications or supplements. This helps us reduce guesswork and design a care plan that’s aligned with your body’s unique blueprint.
I believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation. I regularly coordinate with your therapist, PCP, or other providers (with your consent) to ensure you have consistent, supportive care across the board.
No—genomic testing is completely optional. It’s a powerful tool, especially if you’ve tried multiple treatments without success, but it’s not required for integrative care. We’ll discuss if it’s the right fit for your situation.
Absolutely. I welcome collaboration and am happy to coordinate care to support your healing from all angles.
Insurance can be confusing. Here are some key terms explained:
A fixed amount you pay for each appointment, such as $30 per visit.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering services. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance kicks in.
After you’ve met your deductible, you might pay a percentage of the cost, such as 20%, while insurance pays 80%.
The most you’ll pay in a year. Once you hit this amount, insurance covers 100% of covered services.
In-network providers have negotiated rates with your insurance, which usually means lower costs for you. Out-of-network providers may cost more, but you might still get partial reimbursement.
