Our Psychiatric Care Services in Washington

Your journey begins with a thorough diagnostic evaluation to understand your unique symptoms, history, and goals. This initial assessment allows us to gain a complete picture of your mental health and forms the foundation of your personalized treatment plan.

When appropriate, our provider offers expert medication management to help alleviate symptoms and restore balance. We carefully monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed, ensuring your treatment is both safe and effective while prioritizing your comfort.

We offer brief supportive therapy using Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you explore what matters to you, develop coping strategies, and work toward your goals.

We recognize the profound impact of trauma and offer a sensitive, trauma-informed approach to care. Our focus is on creating a safe and empowering environment where you can process past experiences and move forward on a path to healing.

We believe effective care goes beyond symptoms. Our provider takes a holistic view of your well-being, considering lifestyle, personal history, and your unique goals. We work collaboratively with you to ensure your treatment plan aligns with your values.

All Washington visits are telehealth. You get a full psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management by secure video, wherever you are in the state.

A key part of sustainable wellness is preparing for the future. We work with you to develop proactive strategies and coping skills aimed at maintaining your mental health long-term, helping you recognize triggers and prevent the recurrence of symptoms.

Our Compassionate Care Provider

Dr. Udo Chukwuocha holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is board certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Patients describe her as patient, calm and ready to listen. She looks at the whole person, not a list of symptoms, and builds each treatment plan with you.

Our Psychiatric Care Process

Your first visit is a full psychiatric evaluation by secure video. We talk through your symptoms, history, current medications and goals, so we understand the whole picture before recommending anything.

Together, you and Dr. Udo build a plan that fits your needs. It may include medication management, lifestyle changes or a referral for therapy, and you help decide each step.

Follow-up video visits focus on how you are feeling and how your medication is working. When it helps, they include brief supportive therapy using Motivational Interviewing.

We track how you respond to treatment over time. If something is not working or side effects come up, your plan is adjusted with you.
