Accepting New Patients in Texas, Oregon, and Washington State

I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), specializing in integrative psychiatry. I am dual board certified in psychiatry and family practice and I’m passionate about helping individuals achieve emotional wellness through a holistic and integrative approach. My philosophy is simple yet profound: mental health is the foundation of overall well-being, and true healing comes from addressing the mind, body, and spirit
When people have a better understanding of their health and challenges, they’re more empowered to make positive changes.
I’m here to support you along the way! Together, we’ll create a more balanced and fulfilling life!
My journey into healthcare began in my small village, where access to quality medical care was limited. Watching loved ones suffer without adequate support inspired my desire to help others. Volunteering in local clinics and church services as a young girl showed me the importance of compassionate care and ignited a lifelong commitment to improving access to health services.
After moving to the U.S., I explored different areas of medicine and ultimately realized that mental health was at the core of true wellness. With over a decade of experience in healthcare settings ranging from inpatient care and primary care to case management and outpatient psychiatry, I bring a holistic and patient-centered approach to my practice.
My experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner has deeply influenced my approach to care, focusing on preventive strategies, building strong patient relationships, and promoting long-term wellness. I am equipped to address both your physical and emotional health, helping to identify and treat any underlying causes that may be contributing to your symptoms. This comprehensive approach ensures that we address the full scope of your health.
As someone who has navigated cultural transitions myself, I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by BIPOC and immigrant communities, from balancing cultural expectations to overcoming stigma around mental health, and I am dedicated to creating a safe space where every patient feels seen, heard, respected, and supported.

In addition to my professional work, I bring my unique personality and interests to my practice. As the youngest of 12 children, I learned the importance of empathy, resilience, and embracing diverse perspectives. When I’m not working, you’ll find me immersed in Korean dramas, reading supernatural mysteries, traveling, or dancing. I’m also a big fan of horror movies and anime, and I find immense joy in connecting with diverse stories and experiences. These personal passions remind me of the joy and connection that can emerge even during life’s most challenging times.
At my core, I am committed to being your partner in your journey toward better mental wellness. Whether through medication management, lifestyle coaching, integrative techniques, or just providing education about your health, my goal is to empower you to take charge of your well-being with a compassionate, patient-centered approach that honors your unique story.

Insurance can be confusing. Here are some key terms explained:
A fixed amount you pay for each appointment, such as $30 per visit.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering services. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance kicks in.
After you’ve met your deductible, you might pay a percentage of the cost, such as 20%, while insurance pays 80%.
The most you’ll pay in a year. Once you hit this amount, insurance covers 100% of covered services.
In-network providers have negotiated rates with your insurance, which usually means lower costs for you. Out-of-network providers may cost more, but you might still get partial reimbursement.
