Anxiety can make it difficult to fully engage in the present, leaving you feeling like it’s steering your life instead of you. It can overshadow your accomplishments, limit your confidence, and make even daily tasks feel overwhelming. For high achievers, anxiety can be particularly frustrating—despite your motivation and drive, it may feel like your mind is always racing, second-guessing decisions, or anticipating the worst.
You might experience constant tension in your body, excessive worry about every little detail, or an endless loop of replaying past mistakes and fearing future outcomes. Even when things are going well, anxiety can make it hard to feel at ease, leaving you caught in a cycle of self-doubt and exhaustion. If this sounds familiar, know that you’re not alone—and that relief is possible. Reach out to Dr. Udo Chukwuocha, DNP, at CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness. Dr. Udo Chukwuocha offers comprehensive psychiatric and mental health care, diagnosing the cause of your anxiety and providing integrative treatment.
You may also have a panic attack, an intense reaction that occurs suddenly and causes chest pain, difficulty breathing, dizziness, and sweating.
If this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to stay stuck in this cycle.
If anxiety is interfering with your daily life, relationships, work, or overall well-being, therapy can help. You don’t have to be in crisis to seek support—if you often feel overwhelmed, struggle with racing thoughts, or experience physical symptoms like tension and fatigue, treatment can provide tools to help you regain control.
Not necessarily. Medication is one option, but it’s not the only approach. I offer integrative treatment, which means we can explore lifestyle changes, therapy techniques, and natural interventions before or alongside medication, depending on your needs and preferences.
Not all treatment experiences are the same. My approach is personalized, meaning we’ll work together to find strategies that actually fit your lifestyle and goals. If something hasn’t worked in the past, we can explore different methods until we find what’s effective for you.
The first step is to schedule an initial evaluation. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and treatment options to see if we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan to help you move forward with confidence.

Insurance can be confusing. Here are some key terms explained:
A fixed amount you pay for each appointment, such as $30 per visit.
The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering services. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance kicks in.
After you’ve met your deductible, you might pay a percentage of the cost, such as 20%, while insurance pays 80%.
The most you’ll pay in a year. Once you hit this amount, insurance covers 100% of covered services.
In-network providers have negotiated rates with your insurance, which usually means lower costs for you. Out-of-network providers may cost more, but you might still get partial reimbursement.
